Who is Tilton, Thomas & Morgan?

Tilton, Thomas and Morgan Inc. got its start in 1946 when Pat Whitaker joined Clive Reagan to form the Reagan-Whitaker Insurance Agency. Our first office was located on Edmond Street in St. Joseph in the Electric Theater Building. In 1952, Jack Wright joined the Agency and shortly thereafter the offices were moved to 212 N. 7th Street in downtown St. Joseph.

Don Tilton joined the Agency in 1958 and Byron Thomas in 1968. In 1978 Pat Whitaker sold the Agency to Don, Byron and Jack. Wayne Morgan later joined the Agency in 1981.

In 1998 Don Tilton and Byron Thomas retired and Wayne purchased their interest in the Company. That same year, Tyler Morgan joined the Agency, becoming partner in 2000. In 2002, our offices moved to the current site at 1802 Union.

In 2010 Wayne Morgan retired and Tyler Morgan purchased his interest in the Company.
